Join Talbot250, Talbot County Government, and members of the Sons of the American Revolution for the official transfer of a portrait of Colonel Tench Tilghman to Talbot County.

A native of Talbot County and one of General George Washington's most trusted aides-de-camp during the Revolutionary War, Tilghman played a significant role in America's fight for independence. This special ceremony will recognize his legacy and formally present the portrait to the county as part of ongoing efforts to commemorate the nation's 250th anniversary.
