Join the Frederick Douglass Honor Society for special Juneteenth screenings of Bear Me Into Freedom at Asbury United Methodist Church in Easton, Maryland.
The film tells the story of Frederick Douglass through the lens of his own narrative, tracing his journey from enslavement on Maryland’s Eastern Shore to becoming one of the most influential voices for freedom, equality, and justice in American history.
