Rosie Parks Limited Edition Balsamic Vinegar

Item Contributed By: Deena Kilmon

Approximate Age or Date of Origin: 1810

About the Item

This limited edition balsamic vinegar was aged for one year aboard the historic skipjack Rosie Parks, docked at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. Produced by Olivins Tasting Room, the vinegar absorbed the unique maritime environment of the Bay while aging in oak barrels.

The Rosie Parks, built in 1955, was once used for oyster dredging and now serves as a floating connection to Chesapeake heritageโ€”making this vinegar a blend of local craftsmanship and history.
