Classic Car Journey

Item Contributed By: Classic Motor Museum of St.Michaels

Approximate Age or Date of Origin: Various

About the Item

Since we couldn’t exactly bring full-sized cars into the building, the Classic Motor Museum of St. Michaels found another way to share their passion. On display is a model of a sleek black 1936 Ford Cabriolet Two-Door Coupeβ€”a miniature tribute to classic automotive design.

They also loaned an antique Tidex Motor Oil can, dating back to before Tidewater Associated was absorbed by Getty Oil around 1938, along with framed photos of the historic Pickett House. Once relocated and reassembled at the museum’s Marengo Street site, the house served as their office before the museum began renovations at its future home on Talbot Street.
